He let me press the keys, Made some memories
By day picnics he would laugh, At life he could have
Oh me? Im just needles in the vein Oh me? Im just dirt turned mud in rain
My father filled his emptiness, From lost childhood bliss
He came back and forth again, A junkie then a friend
Oh me? Im just needles in the vein Oh me? Im just dirt turned mud in rain
By night hed knock our door The hunger needed more,
Half way houses built a cage, But Nick was full of rage
Oh me? Im just needles in the vein Oh me? Im just dirt turned mud in rain
I saw him drifting last week, Drifting on blood shot and meek
I asked, What do you need? He cuts just to bleed
Oh me? Im just needles in the vein Oh me? Im just dirt turned mud in rain
What can I do for you? What do you want me to?
There was never enough for me Just came to say sorry
Oh me? Im just needles in the vein Oh me? Im just dirt turned mud in rain

This sounds like song lyrics to me and I think it could turn into a fantastic song. |
