You say I took it really well,
you didn't see me cry myself to sleep.
They try to stop your happiness
and cut your heart at the seam.
Well they won this battle
but they can't win the war,
cause I shall fight daily
to show my love to you once more.
I can't go on living life
without seeing your face
You love me beyond compare,
which you show in sweet embrace.
How can my heart still continue it's beat
I can't beleive they would try this one
as I stand here in disgusted defeat.
It hurts you much more than it hurts me
this you showed me to be true
I wish I was there to wipe your tears
for just one time to be with you.
This is one war that I'm not giving in
and I will do whatever it takes
to show you the truth
that in the end, we will win.
