LONELY MAN!

Topic: SongLyrics

( TO TUNE GHOST RIDERS IN THE SKY)

(Song)

There was a man that I new well
Who lived a wicked life.
Because of it he lost his friends,
His family and his wife.
He wanted much to change his ways,
And find happiness within.
But The harder that he tried,
The deeper he fell in sin.

Now years went by,and times got hard,
For this bitter unhappy man.
At every turn he found that nothing
Worked as he had planned.
So he left the place he grew up in
And wandered far from home.
Then it hit him for the first time,
That he was all alone.

All alone, far from home.
With no one to call, his own.

His saddness turned to anger,
Then bitterness and strife.
Now, he had made his mind up,
He couldnt go on with life.
For he thought that it was hopeless,
To go on as he was living.
And he thought there was no Hell,
And was sure there was no Heaven.

Hopeless man, if you can,
Please find the time,
To hear me if you can.

So he decides to end his life,
Alone now in his room.
The only sound a radio,
Some preacher named Graham at noon.
He talked about eternal life,
And forgiveness of all sins,
Of every man who will pray
And ask the Savior in.

Broken heart, lonely man,
In deep dark depression,
He continues with his plan.

The cup of poison pressed to lips
That trembled as he wept.

He struggled hard to do it quick
Before his courage left.
But his body buckled under him,
And his face then hit the ground.
Then he cried Save me a sinner Lord.
Have Mercy on me now.

He found life, and forgiveness
For his sins.
And a reason for living,
Because the Lord came In.

King of Kings,
Hes The Savior of men.
Its never too late
To be forgiven of your sins!
