I am a tin soldier left out in the rain
Patiently waiting for the sun to come again
I will hope you will remember that I once loved you
And despite all that happened I spoke only truth
My nights filled with nightmares, my days filled with tears
As I look around me not one person cares
So I will remain here faithful and true
Like a tin soldier who doesn't know what to do
I once had good dreams when I was a youth
But now I am frightened and my mind now abused
Please do not judge what you haven't known
The dreams I've been having weren't meant to be shown
Cursed and forgotten I know I cannot stay
But I'm a tin soldier and I know no other way
I am a tin soldier left out in the rain
Patiently waiting for the sun to come again
