HE GIVES ME FAITH
He hath not money
to give unto me
no wealthy paper green
or such sorts of anything
to give me for my well being.
no Samaritan of such any man
who will heal my heart so broken
a breathing and living organ
that inside me beats again and again
keeping my soul alive
keeping my spirit in fulness of life
still he gives no money
or for me, a selfless giver of kind deeds
for the healing within me
no doctor no nurse he makes available for me,
yet he says hang on
let your faith carry you along
peter said silver and gold I have none
with his faith being so strong,
but such as I have I give thee
he continued to speak
in Jesus name rise up and walk
and he took him by the right hand and lifted him up
and immediately his feet and ankles received strength
the broken man, healed, by his faith
for he rose and walked that day
so my God gives no money to me
no wealthy paper green
he sends no Samaritan to help me
or a selfless giver of kind deeds
but a faith in he
to receive healing
a prayer and a blessing
to rise up, to walk, to keep going.
(Acts 3:6,7)
