|
I stared at the river
soaked dark with human sins.
My own reflection shown for one moment
the shadow of myself
the night we all contain.
Then disturbed by a rippling breeze
scattered so only memory remains.
Was it fancy of the mind
or unaccepted truth of myself?
Dark river, reflecting the shadows of my soul.

Oh yeah, great job with this poem. Perhaps a comma after 'the shadow of myself'?
