Death Dream

have you ever had a dream
where all you do is run
a dream it may seem
but reality weighs a ton
you find yourself lost
in the shaddows you feel the pain
death is the cost
drenched in misery rain
you loose your way
in your unconcious mind
death and pain
is all you find
the bells of misery
ring and toll
they're not after you
they're after your soul
you lie on the floor
about half dead
but for death
you wish instead
and of that nightmare
is just a taste
of that death dream
you've yet to face

| I would have to agree with the last comment. Death is something we will all have to face eventually. But for others...it seems like its the only way to live. Thats where faith and strength come in. There is nothing to fear except for fear itself. This poem amazes me. Form the ryhme scheme to the message. ITs all very well captured. |
