Oh sweet gun,
Sing me your lullaby
Let it echo in my ears
As my life flashes
It's a deafening song
That puts you in a dreamland,
A meditation so deep
Nobody can survive
The motions of your bullet
Sink into my skin
Ending all of my pain
It's the last thing I'll see and hear
The end of my life....
But once my parents get here,
They won't see the beauty in its song
They see hate, anger, and stupidity
As the shiny metal lies in my limp hands
The gun....
My killer
My best friend

| brilliant poem, although guns are no doubt awful and deliverers of pain there also deliverers from it. |

My God, child, you think these kind of things in class???
I mean, come on, Social Studies???
I loved Social Studies.
I only thought of suicide during Business Math with Mr. Button.
I thought your entry was pretty scary.
I can only hope that life is not that tough for you.
Taking the eternal, celestial, dirt nap is no answer to the problems of life.

hey
that poem really touched me not many do!!
i hope that u arnt actually feling this way and if u are i think u need to talk to someone
i like the way things like that pop in to ur head like that cause mine do to and when they do its like u have to wirte it down isnt it
well keep up the good work=-) and i look forward to reading some others |
