My blood turns red upon the sight And ears alight my dome So sweet the taste of disbelief As anger takes my home
And fire it sweeps along the grass A cheaper way to burn And so the slaughter shows the time an easier way to learn
So swords take flight and oscillate When in the thickening air The monsters steal my innocence With coldest lack of care
And I, defensive as I am, Take up diversive lies And chew my way 'long oldest paths Of celebrated size
So now the taken land of old Shall never 'ere the end Concede the truth too easily But ceaselessly defend
