This is my Exit.....

Contributed by EddieDean on Wednesday, 28th June 2006 @ 03:25:56 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

This is my exit,
This is how I'll end it all.

This is my final "Farewell" to the World.
This is how I will show them all,
That I am not just a stepping stone.
Not just another peon to ignore,
Not just another life to destroy.

This is my exit,
This is how I'll end it all.

I don't care if anyone misses me,
I don't care if they don't miss me,
I don't care if anyone will show to my funeral,
I don't care at all.

If they did care,
Then I would not have to take this exit,
I would not have to leave this way.
But...
No one cares,
No one at all.

This is my exit,
This is how I will end it all.

The pain in my arms is nothing to the pain of my life,
Slowly the pain fades away.
Soon my body grows warm,
As my lifes blood drains from my body.

Now my body goes cold,
Now I go to sleep,
Now you will know,
My life is a life for you to keep.

This is my exit,
This is how I will end it all.

****** Please Note*******

This is something I was inspired to write at work, I am not contemplating suicide, I have too many people that need me.

Eddie Dean

Good write, it brings up those memories we all have about that topic.
