As I sit here watching the rain fall from my window I find myself remembering about our past. I start to remember about all the times I cried for you, and how my dreams of you and me did not last. The rain was just like my tears, tears that you never swept away. I was scared of you leaving me alone some day, I fear I no longer have today. I now know that after the rain there is always a rainbow, with that rainbow comes a clear blue sky.
The rain has stopped the wounds have healed, pain is no longer what I feel. I will no longer be blinded by your lies, I now have someone who will stand by my side. Someone who has no feelings to hide, feelings you never cared to show, and that is why I had to let you go.
