Love is the rose
Touch the rose
But do not bruise
It's beauty
Hold the rose
But do not crush
It's petals
But watch for
The thorns for
They hurt the most
I am a rose
Soft and fragile
beautiful and bold
I can wither
I can grow
I can be crushed
My emotions, the petals
My mind, the leaves
My body, the stem
Be gentle
But not soft
With my emotions
Be kind
But not gentle
With my mind
Be rough
But not brutal
With my body
My wit, the thorns
my life line

Such beauty within the rose itself and you have captured
that in this soft, gentle write.
Your comparisons to the rose are outstandingly
profound, but that last bit was incredibly insightful!
The thorns, protective of the fragility of the
flower, are indeed the life line ..

My friend an outstanding and very well delivered masterpiece. The rose, delicate and fragile . Like a life line the thorns protect it. This write says alot about you. Well done K~
