My Irish heart thumps a playfull beat,
My Irish heart wails a funeral march.
My Irish eyes see a body of green and blue,
My Irish eyes see a landscape burnt right through.
My Irish mouth utters words of pure rejoice,
My Irish mouth is sealed tight in hatefull spite.
My Irish mind sings a true love song,
My Irish mind screams a hatefull chant.
Im Irish sure its true but what could that mean to you?
My irish groin knows tingiling delight,
My Irish groin knows the shame of the rejected touch.
My Irish feet dance to a simple tune,
My Irish feet kick life from the man layed down low.
My Irish knees tremble with the excitment we say only children know,
My Irish knees knock from the fear my life might not be the best.
My Irish hands carress with the softest touch,
My Irish hands clench, ready to spit and lurch.
Im Irish sure its true but what could that mean to you?
Im Irish sure its true and my Irishness means nothing to you,
No it means not a thing and to be fair I cant say it should.
There is one thing though which I reckon to be true,
All those things my Irish parts do, sure you do them to.
I'm Irish and proud to be, but this I think I understand, I think I like being no different to you!!!
