Natures Way

Contributed by jerseysue on Wednesday, 5th July 2006 @ 02:20:47 AM in AEST
Topic: NaturePoetry

The wind in earnest blows,
Bringing a sense of rush,
Throwing debris all around,
With it's gigantic push,

The trees bow down their heads,
.As the wind passes through,
Causing mayhem and confusion,
Turning some things askew,

The rain can be refreshing,
When the heat is hard to bare,,
Can cool down the atmosphere,
And freshen up the air,

But rain it has a dark side,
It can be torrential and uncaring,
Bringing floods and destruction,
Its force so overbearing,

Thunder rolling on its course,
Noisy and frightening too,
It growls its way across the sky,
Turning it dark and dismal too,

The lightning with its flashing forks,
Brightens up the darkened sky,
It follows after the thunder,
And the earth it electrifies,

But the sunshine it is welcome,
For it gives earth a healthy glow,
Makes everything so bright,
In the warmth that it shows,

So be thankful for natures way,
Whether skies are grey or blue,
Its a blessing to us all,
Because mother nature made us too.

You describe it so beautifully Sue, no matter how bad the weather or how hot its all part of nature and each condition is for a reason... Sun and the rain makes everything grow...The thunder and rain cools every thing down when it gets to hot, nature is beautiful especially when we have a rainbow..xxx
