Perfection is something everyone seeks
Yet is almost impossible to find
Even atop the tallest mountain peaks
Some believe it does not exist
While others continue to persist
Searching for that one thing
That will make the heavens sing
A most peaceful song
That will bind all that is wrong
Making that person complete
Filling the gaping hole in their chest
And it is within a rose
That I found my perfection
A beautiful red rose
With not a single thorn
A sweet smelling rose
That has never left me torn
And she has filled my chest
With a most loving heart
Giving me my lost center
For the rose fills my ears
With the heavenly song she sings
And within this elegant song
And loving heart
I find one thing
Perfection
