Is everybody here
Has everyone arrived
Have the guests taken off their coats
Are they seated and patiently awaiting the night
Is everyone happy
Are they all enjoying themselves
The conversations seam intriguing
The connections are evident in the eyes peering
Is anyone alone
Does anyone feel empty inside
Are all of you content with the lives you lead
Can you sit there and smile while inside you bleed
Is anyone from out of town
New to this city of strange concrete blocks and alleys
Lost in the midst of someone elses grand finale
Wishing they could be somewhere else with a snap of two fingers
Does anyone want to leave
Get out of this place and go for a walk
Anybody need some fresh air, to get away from the smoke
Has everyone left without saying goodbye
Is this someones idea of a sick joke

I hear you loud and clear~
many a time has found me at odds with a wayward group of "yes-men" and party goers.. women preening themselves.. finding it necessary to be one-up on their "rivals" ..as it were.. lol
some pointless endeavor-
