The sky is clear and the moon is bright.
I wish I could share with someone, this beautiful night.
With the stars like diamonds contrasting the black,
I gave you these stars, now I want them back.
I gave you the moon and I gave you the stars.
I gave you my heart and you gave me these scars.
The night was ours, we shared the sky.
We owned the universe, you and I.
