Tears....

Contributed by solmyr1404 on Tuesday, 11th July 2006 @ 03:48:57 PM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

As my last tear falls to the pillow,
And I fall again into the land of sleep,
Exhaustion from crying
After reading through your last letter,
Seeing where you wrote
"I love you.
I know I've said it before,
But now it means so much more,"
I mutter another "I love you"
I'm not sure with ever be heard....
And then there's the dream....
I can't say exactly what happened in it,
But I know you where there....
You were here on some trip,
And you saw me watching,
You recognized me....
You snuck off from the group to be with me....
I really don't remember much about that dream....
But when you kissed me,
It felt so real....
When you held me, and I, you,
I could feel your warmth of your skin....
I could feel your heart beating....
I awoke in tears....
But this time not just the tears of year-old grief,
But also sweet tears of love....
Of happiness....
Because even from the grave
I can still feel your love for me....
And I know
You can still feel
My love
For you....

this poem is true.....this happened just a few days ago....i have poured my heart into this one unlike any other, except for purple mountain haze, also about this same person....

My condolences on your loss. I too, lost my best friend last week. I commend you on writing this. It takes alot of strength and courage to be able to write about a dear loved one you've just lost. My heart & prayers are with you friend and if there is anything I can do please pm me even if you just want to vent or you want somebody to talk to. Know that I am here. Once again I'm so sorry for your loss. May time be kind to u and heal ur wounded heart real soon. She'll always be with you wherever you go or whatever you do. She'll always be watching over you.
love, hugs and heartfelt prayers,
sue m
