Your Grain Of Sand

Contributed by Ruby2sdy on Sunday, 16th July 2006 @ 12:17:04 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

A thought escapes from an open window of opportunity, in the corners of my mind, unsure of where to go, what to do.
It longs to find you, find your naked flesh and feast upon your love, touch you within these precious twilight hours.
The light dapples the walls, orange, aglow, the world is on fire and my heart is the only thing burning,
You are the dream that fills my every night, the guide that shows me the universe in all of its ugly beauty.
How could I ever leave your side?
We are all of us seeds, sown into the fabric of time, where love allows us to flourish,
Do not promise me the world when all you have to offer is a grain of sand;
That grain of sand is enough.

I am fast becoming a fan of yours, you know.

I think yopu have a wonderful way of writing, and it stands out.

Several of the lines in this stood out, in fact, mostly the last two.

Wonderful thoughts and musings,

Phil xxx
