Perhaps; age shall make me wiser, Wisdom make me bolder, Love make me stronger, Innocence make me older;
But standing on the edge of something, As I await my fall, None of these things are certain, Will I walk home, or will I crawl?
Perhaps; eternity is a second away, Hope at the end of this mile, Peace upon the horizon, Dreams within a smile.
But as I stumble towards something, As I await the touch, None of these things seem certain, What if it all is too much?
Perhaps this life will be the death of me, And my death be the start of life, It shall pull me away from this misery, From this daily struggle and strife.
But what if theres nothing after, If this life is the only Ill ever lead, What is it that becomes of us, Long after we leave?

Very well penned. I've asked myself some of the same questions and you have stated (asked?) them very well in this wonderfully written poem.
Thank you,
Tim

Yes all these unanswered questions.
I am, therefore I must be? Never can I work out that one, I loved the poem, and the wording is so good. Sue x
