Through The Window

Contributed by MoonlitAngel on Monday, 10th February 2003 @ 06:00:00 AM in AEST
Topic: FriendshipPoetry

I watch you fly
Across the sky
As a beautiful winged rainbow
I see you shine
Your peaceful light
Into my room right through the window

Somehow I feel
It's not quite real
'Cause it feels like something is missing
What happened to
The love we knew
The one thing we keep on neglecting

I love you, I do
And I always will
I'll never not be here for you
I still need you now
Hope you know it's true
I'd prove it if I just knew how

Nothing's the same
This life's a game
But we will always be beautiful
Nobody knows
The way it goes
The ups and downs we got through somehow

When the sun shines
Things will be fine
At least that's the way it looks from here
But I'm afraid
That what we've made
Of what we had cannot be held near

I can't forget you
And I don't want to
No one could know the way it was
Love you forever
Laughing together
What you bring to me is something I need
