We once walked through life
hand in hand
I was your woman
and you were my man
we greeted each day
with wide open arms
always weathering
any storm before the calm.
I believed our love was strong
and here to stay
but where are you now
you're not with me here today.
I remember the day you left
you went without a word
or did you give hints
that by me were not heard.
Its been so long
but the pain is still there
where are you my love
and do you even care
that you left me broken hearted
lonely and scared
with only the memories
of what we once shared.
