tightly grasping to something alread lost she passes me by she looks upon me but never enough to fully apprize me just sufficiently to foolishly assure me that i am what she calls her heart
and she is my light in a darkened and frightening room yet she chooses the devotion of something that has come before
her memory is the dismissal of the presence of my love
