She moved on
You were but a stepping stone
To better things
Discarded and crushed
You swore you'd never love again
But boys like you
Fall hopelessly for pretty words
And I came armed with poetry
Which you payed for
Which your heart
Piece by piece
For a few more lines
Another song
Breaking your promise
Betraying yourself
Now your heart's in my hands
But don't worry love
I'll be sure to break it well
Razor edged shards
Much to sharp to picece back together
Because I believe
In second chances
