Abandoned

Contributed by epsftbllchic1617 on Saturday, 22nd July 2006 @ 07:23:50 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Here I stand empty and alone,
Again I'm all on my own.
What will come of this is clear,
You will not always be here.
If I need you I can call,
However without you surely I'll fall.
My emotions are running high,
What you said was a lie.
The always and forever,
That was really never.
Outside you see me cry,
Inside can you see me die?
For my broken heart there is no cure,
Now that you have gone for sure

the best way to express raw emotion is usually the simplest. Your poem is very clear cut and many readers will appreciate that. keep up the good work

What a wonderful write. It brought back alot of memories for me, one too many. I have been in the exact same place that you have, and I know how tough it can be. Sometimes I think I will always carry that memory or feeling with me, it is sooo hard sometimes to get over a person that you were truly intwined with, and in love with. But it's ok, because what hurts us only makes us stronger, and more aware of what we need to protect ourselves from. Take care, Kimberly
