She said,
"I have the key,
I've found the door.
But I can't open it.
I try so hard,
but it won't open."
slaming her fists against
the door
she cries as she falls to the floor
She always disappears
she hides from the monster
yet it's the devil that has her
as she disappears
she fades away from reality
no one can ever seem to find her
except for the occasional call
her daughter
her daughter loves her
loves her beyond beliefe
not aloud to see her daughter in person for a long time
they long for eachother
she said,
"I have the key,
I've found the door.

I try so hard,
but it won't open."

wow ...this is so sad. it is hard to feel like u can not get through to someone. i hope your friend does not suffer for her mother's bad choices. very nice piece:)
