She looks fine from the back
Without staring at her face
I can see her eyes
I feel lucky to have her in the same room
To breathe the same air
To write from the same pen
As if some of her will pass to me
and through me
I am suddenly whole
With her smile
I am forced to smile myself
With her laughter
I have little choice but to respond with happiness
Even though my heart wants to die
She breathes new life into a sunken soul
Her voice dances
Gives me reprieve
and it continues to grow
She sings songs
When the silence is deafening
as the distance between us is threatening
further away she walks
lonelier I become

Your words always flow so openly, and freely. I enjoy reading everything you post, yet.I feel sad sometimes.! A lonely path, can be formed to be happy, and together. ALways a pleasure to read lovely writes, you leave for one.

I'm taken to the extreme.. again, my friend-
this (by my perception alone) impromtu write, has me,
on line at the bank.. capturing the physical, albeit: subtle, beauty of the woman in front of me.. yes - lol
metaphors and metre..fantasitc to the point of OBLIVION! (per, your usual way)
