Have you ever laid awake at night
Wishing someone would hold you tight
To hear "I Love You" whispered in your ear
Just to have someone near
To chase away all your fears
Or even wipe away a tear
You close your eyes and try to sleep
Then all at once you start to weep
Do you long to hear a voice in the night
Telling you everything will be all right
As you lay there in the dark
You hear a voice so soft and low
The words just spoken heals the soul
"Just close your eyes and sleep my dear
I will always love you,I'm always near
