I have no fangs to shred the flesh
My life I live, caged by wire mesh
They feed me scraps so I can live
Forced to survive on what they give
Freedom gone, torn and tied in twine
I get vinegar to drink instead of wine
My future bleak here I toil
Making life in someone's soil
From my work the bounty taken
Look at my life I am forsaken
I still continue my path of right
Even when forced to bleed all night
I am free within my own demain
Even if here is where I remain
I can still choose to awake or sleep
This my freedom I will keep
For what adversity my freedom to take
I keep my freedom for freedom sake

Very power full write, friend. It really spits it out what is happening to our freedom. While my country frees other it keepss quezzing at my personal freedom.
