Young love,
so pure and clean,
the sweetest thing,
you've ever seen.
No jealousy,
nor anger or rage,
no middle aged worries,
no problems with age.
Bodies young and supple,
exploring new and exciting ways,
and Oh! how I long
for those halcyon days.
So drink deep my loves,
and don't think anything's wrong,
because young love,
it does not last so very long.

| I know love is never easy, I have had a hard time finding a guy that wouldnt use me for his own needs. But love does exsist and i guess im saying you dont have to be middle age to enjoy it |

A new sub category of nostalgic poetry - rose tinted! I understand the sentiment, but, when it comes to love, I'll take wrinkles over pimples any day.
