One Last Shower In The Rain

Contributed by Lips on Sunday, 30th July 2006 @ 02:50:12 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Riding by I see the lights flash
My curiosity wanted to see all the fuss
I get closer, and think,
Oh no that poor fellow.

Sunken, pulse racing, chest of concrete;
I know that ring, this can't be!
Don't want this to be..
Who is that screaming?
I look around and realise it's me.

Rain, thick and misty.
I race to you
I need to touch you one last time
Throat choking I kiss you one last time

"It's time to go Miss."
I heard them gently coercing
I just wanted to stay
Not sure why;
Cos you've gone away.

But there was no life left.
Not only in him;
But neither in me, my withered spirit.
You left without saying goodbye,
You didn't say goodbye today.

Do you remember when we showered in the rain?
Do you remember when we used to throw coins in the fountain?
I guess you don't;
Cos you left without saying goodbye.

By talking about him it Keeps His spirit alive

( my opinion)
