From Faceless to Loved

Contributed by macgyver_dk on Sunday, 30th July 2006 @ 03:51:13 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Adbandoned as a child,
Cord broken within days,
Memories linger in my subconscience,
Too young to yell or say,

Grew up with fear,
Grew up with pain,
Saw my mom get ill,
Until her final day,

I was never understood,
Black sheep I was called,
Never had a helping hand,
Every time i tripped and falled,

Became an adult and left the nest,
My career took me abroad,
Betryaed by friends and conrades,
Betrayed in Love,

Gave up trying,
Put my thoughts on hold,
Then tried to rescue a person,
Once again left betrayed and cold,

Thoughts of leaving our earth,
Penetrated my every day,
Then in the distant a woman whispered,
And it lead me her way,

Love at first sight it was,
Wasnt looking but there she was,
First meeting I bit my lips and yearned,
Not one moment felt absurbed,

Over two months later,
We are centered and a whole,
Our hearts have merged with laughter,
Life has entered our souls,

I love you for who you are,
Your the kindness of all to behold,
You warm my heart, brushed off my cold,
For eternity, you I want to hold,

As we embark on our new path,
As we set sail to be joined by rings,
I just want to thank you for saving me,
And thank you for all the joy you bring.

This poem brought tears to my eyes. It was very sweet and it sounded so real and sincere. A deep emotion behind it. I think it was a very excellent write. It was full of passion and drive for a happy ending. Bless the both of you. May you always appreciate each other. Well, done!
