Dedicated to You

Topic: FriendshipPoetry

Kind sir, to you I dedicate these lines,
For you have warmed my soul,
For you have brought out confidence,
Where once fear had took its toll

Your kind words mean so much to me,
Compliments on me you bestow,
That bring colour to my once pale face,
Yes ,my cheeks they now do glow,

I write of memories of one I loved,
Of the battles I have lost and one,
Of how loneliness has saddened me,
And of how prospects I have none

But you kind sir , have made me see,
I no more need to hide away,
You give me strength and fortitude,
To live my life from day to day,

So kind sir, now I leave you,
With these words that I have chose,
I hope you recognise who you are,
Most sincerely, From an English Rose

Another lovely write, Sue. This one touches me... and reminds me that I should ever and always be mindful to tell those that are special to me how very very much they mean to me and what a difference they have made in my life. Like you, I have found strength not by my own but through another's encouragement. It is, frankly, the best gift I believe I have ever received.

This is such a fabulous tribute to the one that has made that difference for you! Wonderfully done!
