Trapped
All these thoughts
Emotions
Things I think and feel everyday
I just can't...
The words won't write
The words are trapped!
And I seem...
I seem to have misplaced
The only key
I try to read other's writes
Listen to music and lyrics
But nothing has worked out well
No inspiration has struck me
As it usually does...
Have I used up all my words?
Has everything been taken away?
Was my 'talent' just a fluke?
Why...why will nothing work?
I try...but nothing...nothing will work!
When I try to write
It all sounds lame
Like someone who's not a writer
Have I set expectations too high?
Or am I simply...losing it?
I thought I was getting better..
And now I lose it
I've come to a complete stop
Right here...I'm lost
I've stopped...hopefully only temporarily
I was writing this...
Hoping something would click
And it would unlock my flood of words
But no
It all still sounds so...meaningless
