Grief
|
The shouts, the screams, the shrieks All drowned out by my everlasting grief. I fell to my knees with a thud, No pain, Little blood, Helpless.
Tears shot down my cheek, Just as a bullet had took him from me Breathless.
My mouth opened a scream, So loud, So deafening, Desperate.
My heart wounded just as his, But mine still beating.

This poem reflects a painful experience.
”My heart wounded just as his,
But mine still beating.”
A beautiful expression that shot my heart as well.
Welcome to YPDC friend.
Regards,
FRANCO
