Here I lie perplexed in wonder But my mind is impatient Maybe the light has just faded forever Still outside I hear the moon and the shadows Everything beats but I can't quite find its rhythm I'm so awake, troubled by such wonder Do you think there'll ever be a tomorrow? I swear I believe in all that you've pondered Now my feet ache from chasing my dilusions They're on my mind but the water drowns out your heartbeart Still I know it'll always have rhythm in my head I'll keep the fire warm and my heart pure Then hope my words cure this war
