The Touch of the Wind

Contributed by jerseysue on Saturday, 5th August 2006 @ 06:18:40 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

When the north wind blows,
Sending shivers through my soul,
Your arms will wrap around me,
Bringing warmth to make me whole,

When the southerly breeze arrives,
I will look into your blue eyes,
Like deep pools of water,
I feel the love in you and sigh,

When the wind comes from the east,.
My heart and mind are both at peace,
We will walk hand in hand,
On a beach of golden sand,

When the wind blows to the west,
My body is aching for rest,
You will hold me safe and warm,
Refreshing my soul until the dawn

For the winds are natures beauty,
They bring to me your tender touch,
I send a kiss upon the wind for you.
For I love you very much.

Beautiful piece. I loved the concept of the wind and how you put together each stanza around it. You rhymed quite well, and I like how you ended this. Nice work.
