Please don't hate me
I have to go far away
Your embrace is overwhelming
Don't you have anything to say?
Your face is blank
your eyes are stone-cold
I have to do this for my own sake
Before my heart grows old
I know you love me
But you love me far too much
I'm still just a little girl
I'm too immature for your touch
I thought by now
that time would erase
the tiny wrinkles of hurt
you've put on my face
I do not love you the same
or else I would long for you voice
But now that things are going the way they are
I really have no choice
I may not have the courage again
If I don't do this right away
Cause it'll just hurt me more
If I wait for a later day
So just hear me now
You'll always be near my heart
I just can't take it anymore
you're tearing me apart
You'll find someone better
someone who can understand
why you like to hurt other people
and can't take it like a man
I am going far away
a place where you can't reach me
Cause I'm sure if I don't leave you now
someday you will leave me
As surprising as it may seem
I can't let you go like that
I need to teach you a lesson
to learn to not act like a brat
I may be younger
but I have lived a longer life
in the sense that
you have caused me so much strife
I have to go now
don't tell me to call
don't walk me to the car
You'll just hit a brick wall
I've fallen out of love
I'm leaving for my own good
So just hide in your little world and start treating others like you should
