You always Near

When dark clouds hide the sun, And my heart is broken in two, When tragic events befall me, I look up and I see you,
When tears from me they fall like rain, And my mind is filled with fear, When life is but a cross to bear, I look round and see you near,
When circumstances make me mad, And I have no place to hide, And all the world seems against me, I feel you, your at my side,
When I am tired and restless, And I toss and turn in the night, When nightmares haunt my mind, I sense you, your holding me tight,
I see you when I am down, I feel your love though we are apart, Your my strength in all I do, For you remain inside my heart

Sue, this is an excellently written poem. You've written it masterfully to be interpreted in any of three ways of address. A loved one lost to the Eternal, our Eternal God and Eternal Love. And the best part of all is they are One in any combination. At least, that's your cowboy buddy's read of this piece of Strength. |

Awesome poem. Through thick and thin you still have something to hold on to. And though it may be far away you feel it so close. Too bad not everyone can have that kind of security in something. Even on down days you have something to look up on. Anyways, loved the poem. 5stars. |

My dearest Sue~ I know at times we feel down and things don't seem to go the way we want them to hun, but the comfort of knowing that He is near somehow makes it easier on the heart. Chin up my dear friend and know that I am here for you whenever u need me.
"In sickness or health,
In sufferring and pain,
In storm-laden skies,
In sunshine and rain,
God is always there
To lighten your way
And lead you through darkness
To a much brighter day"
Take care dearest Sue~
He is always with u my dear friend.
love, hugs n prayers,
sue m |

For me brings up the poem Desederata to mind, and the being at peace with God whatever you conceive him/it to be... I love that poem and allthough this seem to have a religious undertone (and I am not religious) I love this one also. Peace |
