All that I have
I give to you
every last drop
my soul you consume
now I left with emptiness
as I try to heal the wound
I was drawn to you
as I stand out on the edge
guess I found the new life
I been waiting for
to bad it left me
bleeding on the floor
begging for more
as my life start to leave
you let go of me
so I can awake up
out of this dream
but my eyes can only
see the gloom
and there a thirst
that will not quit
how many lives
will it take
cant believe I accept
this fate didnt know
what it would take
now I wait for the
daylight to break
for the night to take it shape
for life was a mistake

This poem speaks nicely on it's own. Very
clear and precise in it's point. i like the last line, " for life was a mistake " oh
ain't that the thruth now. well done.

i agree with the other commenters - something with the word "mistake" in the title...but whatever.
love it - love dark poetry...definitely an awesome one.
