GRANDPA WAS A VERY SWEET MAN
HE WAS GENTLE AND HE WAS KIND
NOW THAT HE IS GONE I MISS HIM
ALL THE TIME
GRANDPA HAD A WAGON WITH A
HORSE IN THE FRONT
HE WOULD TAKE US RIDING
ON A WARM SUMMER MORN
GRANDPA WAS A HARD WORKING MAN
HE WORKED ALL THE TIME BUT
HE ALWAYS MADE TIME FOR HIS GRAND CHILDREN SO THEY COULD HAVE A
GOOD TIME
GRANDPA PICKED US UP ON
SATURDAY MORNINGS TO TAKE US
SWIMMING IN AN OLD POND
I MISS THOSE DAYS NOW THAT HE IS GONE
I CARRY HIM IN MY HEART
AND IN MY MIND AND WHEN
I FEEL SAD I THINK OF HIM
AND REMEMBER ALL THE GOOD TIMES
CHERISH THE TIME YOU HAVE
WITH A LOVED ONE
THEY COULD BE HERE TODAY
AND GONE TOMORROW
ALWAYS SAY I LOVE YOU
BEFORE ITS TO LATE
LET THEM KNOW YOU CARE
DONT EVER HESITATE.
