This being I see before me.
Someone who is torn between two worlds.
One which is in the world of conformists and clones.
Another which lies people who act themselves without putting on a mask.
Showing their true selves.
Not caring what anyone thinks.
That being I see before me.
Is myself.
Someone who used to be a conformist.
Someone who used wear a mask in order to fit in.
Now, that same being.
Someone who turned into someone who is different.
Someone who stands out.
This person who now feels torn.
Torn.
Torn between two worlds of conformists and the person who she wants to be.

| i heard a line today, "we don't write in order to be understood, we write in order to understand". read you own poem. would you like to openly say that you're a person who wears a mask to fit it? think about it. you say you're torn. i dont see it. |
