Why does the sun shine,
if my love isn't with me?
Why do the clouds shimmer,
broken by the hot rays,
if he isn't near me?
And if the Moon would stop
ordering the tides,
and would lead his heart
to me?
When he'll come,
how many times
my soul will stop
breathing?
How long?
Tied so tight
at his memory,
still sweetly leaned
at that dream,
at that kiss,
how long is right
to wait again?
The sun doesn't have to shine,
if my love isn't with me.
