art painted on my face covered my pain up in this place yelling and screaming my name here i am i'm going to give you that show a clown that i am give me the spotlight and act as if i give a damn why do you model me into something that i don't won't to be sad, sad, clown why can't i speak like a puppet i let them pull the strings and take control of me Beautiful, Beautiful Dolly that takes her seat face filled with makeup and shoes that can't fit her feet why does that mime look so down makes a expression in that window but the kids run and frown what can i do, i'm giving you a show i don't know who i am ,but my audience don't give a damn give me the spotlight and i act as if i give a damn why do you model me into something that i don't won't to be sad, sad, clown why can't i speak like a puppet i let them pull the strings, take control and run all over me just run all over me where is the fun jake has his bullets for the race but no gun the elephants has its music but no steps the strings of the guitar are useless and i need the help money broke as hell just like society we have felled i'm living my life in a circus struggling for my money but being someone else people throwing food at me but all i want them to see that i want to be happy minute by minute the boo me away but the next day i have to perform this carnival of saddiness again today like a puppet they want to pull me in each and everyway i have nothing to say truly my true self i really miss but they don't give a damn as long as i give them a show and yell WELCOME LADIES AND GENTLEMEN TO THE SAD CIRCUS

Brilliant! You'd make a good lyricist a la Bono of U2. |
