I've gone to wander the gypsy ocean
over dusk and endless swell
Filled my heart at every port
with maiden smiles and tavern tales
I've loved 'till my soul would burst
sung my song and traveled free
two shilling for the mead and stew
worry not , that's all you need
let me walk the summer days-
in winter ; spend them by your side
volka and a gypsy song
will keep us warm on colder nights
that ancient music finds us well
smiling though we've had our tears
stir my blood again to roam
as we've done a thousand years

| I like it. I love that your poems seem to tell a story so often. Emotion poetry is nice but story poetry is my favorite. |
