When I need to see the light
My eyes closed to see your sight
The vision for all to hold
Legendary stories to be told
To possess you I never can
Forever I am your loving man
You are my sun my daily light
So beautiful dressed in white.
As you walk down the aisle
I dream we float down the Nile
An empress proud and strong
I your servant forever long.
Under your veil a smile so sweet
A kiss I long, as our hearts meet
Too many words the pace slow
All I remember is your glow.
This your day so long ago
And even now I never know
Why was I the lucky one?
By your grave under the sun.
