Maybe in silence we were born
so in silence we'll die.
Maybe to scream in pain
while others cry tearlessly
The world is just another phase
another mark through history
Maybe the attention-seekers are blind
and maybe we're hiding behind innocent faces.
Like dead bodies, so alive,
Like sleeping princesses, so awake.
Then sun rises, the sun sets.
"it's all a part of a cycle" they tell me
to close me down and shut me up.
But i sit and think to myself,
Maybe life's turned around the wrong way?
or is it me that's run our of fuel,
and doesn't want to go bakc through memory lane?
Keep that thought, in my head.
sleeping, wondering and thinking.
it's just another day, i tell myself,
i know ive been the wrong way,
but it's just another day...
i rest.
