Splinters swimming into lively flesh Seeking death for a futile cause Reviling hells with poisoned spit Lands inside an infernal pit
Erected by narcissistic flaws Trounced and beaten within there laws Some have cried but all in vain He was our strength, He was our cane
Honorably dressed with worldly shame By wooden hearts that roared thy name Unaware of what they’ve done Amazing grace has set them free
Every deed has its price All depends who throws the dice For all our sins He had to pay For us to grow and find the way
It is the modern era now How can you believe in tales? Tales are lies, but not the nails The Book of life never fails
Feel the joy and read the text Trump the word from east to west Earn a place on Utopian soil Wrapped inside a halcyon coil
Nails were driven through His flesh Leaving hollow faith behind How much science do we need? To kneel and pray beside His feet
