Do you know how much
That I feel your pain?
You may not believe such
An absurd sounding statement
But it is so very true
For its within the love
That have for you
Because when youre sick
It makes me feel sick
That I cant be your medicine
And when youre sad
My heart aches
Seeing you in such a depressing state
Worst of all
When you are in pain
I want to tear myself apart
For Im to weak to stop it all
So never doubt
That youre alone in your pain
Because I feel all of it
And if I could
Id be the medicine
To heal your sickness
Id be the light
That warms your sad face
And Id be the thief
That steals away your pain
Leaving you happy and painless
As well as myself
But in the end
Im simply too weak to be your cure
So please forgive me
