I remember....

Contributed by Alison on Tuesday, 29th August 2006 @ 08:15:43 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I remember.
The way you smiled at me,
The way your eyes had a flash of light,
The way you would touch my face,

I remember.
Things that dont matter now,
Things that only have sentimental value,
Things long gone,

I remember.
The words you said,
The time with you spent,
The way I would walk with my hand in yours,

I remember.
Things that make me smile with tears,
Things that changed me,
Things that you did which made me better,

I remember.
The sound of your laugh,
The scent of your clothes,
The taste of your kiss,

Yes I remember
And there have been days I wish I did not,
And I wonder what might have been,
And still see you in my dreams,

Yes I remember
I remember all you did for me,
I remember the good and the bad,
I remember what we were,

Yes I remember.
And I dont want to at times,
And I know I can move on,
And I know I cant go back,

But I still remember

Yes I remember..

Alison... If he's gone he's not worth the trouble....
Although you did get some beautiful words from the pain...

It's beautiful and I deeply thank you for sharing this with me.....
